Button-up Shirt Long Sleeve BLUT, BRUDER!
The BLUT, BRUDER! button-up shirt by GERMENS, designed by artist Martin Krahl, is a bold and artistic statement piece. The deep black base, slashed with intense red strokes, evokes a sense of passion and mystery. The red patterns are reminiscent of bold brushstrokes, adding depth and character to the shirt. This design, drawn from a larger canvas artwork, symbolizes strength and creativity.
A Story to Tell
“When I wore the BLUT, BRUDER! shirt, someone asked, ‘What do the red lines mean?’ I smiled and explained that the shirt was designed by Martin Krahl, and only 99 pieces were made. The red lines resemble brushstrokes from a painting, giving the shirt an artistic depth. It symbolizes passion and strength, making me feel like I’m wearing a piece of art – bold, creative, and unique.”
Benefits of Cotton
This shirt is made from 100% cotton, woven in Saxony. Cotton is breathable, making it perfect for long days, as it prevents sweat buildup. It is also odor-resistant and comfortable on the skin. The durable material ensures that the shirt retains its shape and color even after many washes, making it a long-lasting wardrobe staple.
Special Features
In addition to its artistic design, the BLUT, BRUDER! shirt is crafted with excellent attention to detail. The Kent collar, with removable stainless steel stays, ensures that the collar remains sharp and structured. The signature GERMENS collar notch adds a touch of uniqueness, while the angled cuffs, often in contrasting colors, provide an extra flair when rolled up. The buttons are securely sewn with shank, ensuring they don’t fall off, and the precise stitching (7 to 8 stitches per centimeter) guarantees durability.
Size Range and Try-on Service
Available in 10 sizes from XS to 6XL, the BLUT, BRUDER! shirt offers the perfect fit for every man. For new customers, GERMENS provides a try-on service for home, allowing you to try three sizes at home to find the ideal fit.
Tailoring and Care Services
If adjustments are needed, GERMENS offers a modification service. Additionally, the shirt is easy to care for: the colors remain vibrant after many washes, and it’s easy to iron. For detailed care instructions, visit this page.
Limited Edition and Production Time
Each BLUT, BRUDER! shirt is part of a limited edition of just 99 pieces. Since the shirts are made to order, production typically takes several weeks. For those who need a shirt immediately, GERMENS offers a selection of immediately available products.
About GERMENS
GERMENS artfashion – art to wear
GERMENS is more than just fashion. It is an extraordinary concept that combines art, individuality and sustainability. Since it was founded in 2010, GERMENS has stood for wearable works of art – each item of clothing is created in collaboration with international artists and is absolutely unique in its design.
Why GERMENS? Because we rethink fashion. Instead of producing mass-produced goods, we manufacture exclusively to order or in small, limited editions. This reduces overproduction, conserves resources and makes every GERMENS piece something special. Our fabrics come from Saxony and are made into high-quality shirts, blouses and T-shirts in Europe – with attention to detail and precision craftsmanship.
GERMENS stands for exceptional designs that emphasise the character of the wearer. For quality that you can feel. And for an attitude that sees fashion as an expression of personality and culture.
GERMENS is fashion for people who don't want to look like everyone else – but like themselves.

What is special about GERMENS?

extravagant artist designs
René Koenig and numerous external artists create their designs directly on special templates that correspond exactly to the cuts of GERMENS clothing. The result is a surface design that fits perfectly on every item of clothing – an interplay of art and fashion in perfect form.

Exclusive designs - printed to fit perfectly
GERMENS only uses its own designs, which are only available here. For each garment – in every size from XS to 6XL – the pattern pieces are printed individually and accurately on high-quality cotton fabric.
The fabric is then finished so that the colours remain permanently brilliant, the fabric is washable, suitable for everyday use and comfortable to wear – without any unpleasant odours.

Careful cutting by hand
GERMENS only produces what has actually been ordered. This is very sustainable and ensures lasting value. After printing, the fabrics are cut to size – in the traditional way, by hand. The skilled worker is visually orientated to the design and cuts each piece individually. The result is a perfect fit in which art and cut interact perfectly.

Careful manufacture in the factory
After cutting, the many individual pieces are sewn together in a Polish family business with great care and many years of experience. High-quality finishing details – such as finely stitched edges or buttons with handles – and fine fabrics guarantee that every GERMENS garment will give you long-lasting pleasure.Who wears GERMENS?
