A Story to Tell
“When I first wore the DÉJÀ VU shirt, I had an instant feeling of familiarity. The name fits perfectly – every time I put it on, I experience a sense of déjà vu, that moment when I feel seen and special. The subtle yet striking design with black and white accents always catches attention. When someone asked if I’d worn the shirt before, I proudly shared that it was designed by Finnish artist Teemu Kaski and is part of a limited edition of just 99 pieces. It’s not just a fashionable piece; it carries a story within.”
Benefits of Cotton
This shirt is made from 100% cotton, woven in Saxony. Cotton is known for its breathability, keeping you cool even on long days. It’s a natural, skin-friendly fabric that feels comfortable to wear. The material is odor-resistant and highly durable, ensuring you can enjoy this unique piece for years, even after many washes.
Special Features
The DÉJÀ VU shirt is not only about its stunning design but also its exceptional craftsmanship. The GERMENS collar notch adds a touch of elegance, while the Kent collar, supported by removable stainless steel stays, keeps its perfect shape. The angled cuffs, often featuring contrasting colors, provide a stylish flair when rolled up. The buttons are securely sewn with shank, ensuring they won’t fall off, and the precise stitching – 7 to 8 stitches per centimeter – guarantees long-lasting durability.
Fit and Size Range
Available in 10 sizes from XS to 6XL, the DÉJÀ VU shirt offers a perfect fit for everyone. To ensure the right size, GERMENS provides a convenient try-on service for home, allowing you to try three different sizes at home.
Tailoring and Care
If the shirt requires minor adjustments, GERMENS offers a modification service. Additionally, the shirt is easy to care for: the colors remain vibrant after many washes, and it’s easy to iron. For detailed care instructions, visit this page.
Exclusivity and Production
Each DÉJÀ VU shirt is part of a limited edition of just 99 pieces. Since the shirts are mostly made to order, production typically takes several weeks. For those in need of an immediate purchase, GERMENS offers a selection of immediately available products.
This shirt is more than just a piece of clothing; it’s a unique statement of art, individuality, and style.
About GERMENS
GERMENS artfashion – art to wear
GERMENS is more than just fashion. It is an extraordinary concept that combines art, individuality and sustainability. Since it was founded in 2010, GERMENS has stood for wearable works of art – each item of clothing is created in collaboration with international artists and is absolutely unique in its design.
Why GERMENS? Because we rethink fashion. Instead of producing mass-produced goods, we manufacture exclusively to order or in small, limited editions. This reduces overproduction, conserves resources and makes every GERMENS piece something special. Our fabrics come from Saxony and are made into high-quality shirts, blouses and T-shirts in Europe – with attention to detail and precision craftsmanship.
GERMENS stands for exceptional designs that emphasise the character of the wearer. For quality that you can feel. And for an attitude that sees fashion as an expression of personality and culture.
GERMENS is fashion for people who don't want to look like everyone else – but like themselves.

What is special about GERMENS?

extravagant artist designs
René Koenig and numerous external artists create their designs directly on special templates that correspond exactly to the cuts of GERMENS clothing. The result is a surface design that fits perfectly on every item of clothing – an interplay of art and fashion in perfect form.

Exclusive designs - printed to fit perfectly
GERMENS only uses its own designs, which are only available here. For each garment – in every size from XS to 6XL – the pattern pieces are printed individually and accurately on high-quality cotton fabric.
The fabric is then finished so that the colours remain permanently brilliant, the fabric is washable, suitable for everyday use and comfortable to wear – without any unpleasant odours.

Careful cutting by hand
GERMENS only produces what has actually been ordered. This is very sustainable and ensures lasting value. After printing, the fabrics are cut to size – in the traditional way, by hand. The skilled worker is visually orientated to the design and cuts each piece individually. The result is a perfect fit in which art and cut interact perfectly.

Careful manufacture in the factory
After cutting, the many individual pieces are sewn together in a Polish family business with great care and many years of experience. High-quality finishing details – such as finely stitched edges or buttons with handles – and fine fabrics guarantee that every GERMENS garment will give you long-lasting pleasure.Who wears GERMENS?
